The Tao is the source and organizing principle of all life.
Yoruba Philosophy | Guided by Ori (inner destiny) and the Orisha (divine forces of nature and consciousness), it offers a living system for aligning one’s life with purpose and balance.
Wood is the energy of growth
Fire is the element of illumination, passion, and recognition.
Earth is the stabilizing force that nourishes, holds, and sustains life.
Metal represents strength, clarity, discipline, and refinement—the power to shape and define.
Water is the element of flow, intuition, and emotional depth.
Funki Shui is a way of understanding how the spaces around us affect how we feel and how we live.
The Funki Shui Method
Funki Shui is a holistic design method that helps people create spaces that support balance, well-being, and life purpose. Inspired by Feng Shui, it shows how the way a space is arranged influences energy, mood, and daily life.
Erin Alexander / Akofa Oyin trained in Black Sect Tantric Buddhist (BTB) Feng Shui with Professor Lin Yun and in Form School Feng Shui, learning how landscapes, structures, and the flow of energy shape environments. Funki Shui explains these principles in a modern, practical way that anyone can use at home, in classrooms, or in gardens.
The method works with the Five Elements—wood, fire, earth, metal, and water—to balance natural energy in a space. It also incorporates Tru U Triangle readings, Erin’s approach to Bazi, which connects a person’s unique energy pattern to the spaces they inhabit, helping environments align with life purpose.
Funki Shui honors Yoruba spiritual wisdom and the Orisha, recognizing rivers, forests, wind, and earth as sacred forces. By respecting these energies, people deepen their connection to the environment and culture while creating spaces that feel alive and supportive.
By blending Feng Shui, Tru U Triangle insights, ecological awareness, and Orisha traditions, Funki Shui guides people in designing spaces that are balanced, meaningful, and nurturing—for themselves, their communities, and the Earth.

From orun to aye - Designing between heaven & earth
Your space is either draining your destiny or developing it. Funki Shui teaches you how to choose
The Geomancy & Sacred Design System
Design is not only visual — it is spiritual, ecological, cultural, and energetic.
The Funki Shui Master Class is a 16-week immersive journey into ancient geomancy, Orisha cosmology, Feng Shui principles, and modern scientific understanding of the person–place relationship.
This is a living design system rooted in Iwapelé (good character), balance, and Ashe — where environment becomes a tool for healing, alignment, and purpose.
What This Course Is About
Funki Shui bridges:
